Winchesters Model of 1918 Machine Rifle .30-06 select Fire machine-gun. The serial number of this example is 86300 with a Barrel Date of 1918. Overall condition is excellent with 98% what I believe to be the original factory finish. This was a "Lend Lease Gun" to Great Britain prior to the U.S. entering the war effort. It was to be used to defend the country from a Nazis invasion that never came. The invasion didn't come, so the weapon never was used in combat or modified to the 1918A2 configuration. I have had this Machine Rifle for three years and never fired it (safe queen). The barrel gauges new at both ends. A drop dead gorgeous example.
