Very nice example of this Classic little .22 Lever Action rifle. Serial number indicates 1964 manufacture so it is an original JM gun, with stamp on the barrel
Pictures tell the story of the condition of this gun - very good all round condition with very light patina on the right hand side of the reciever which can easily be removed with proper wiping and care.
Bore is good and has strong visible micro grooves, wood has a small amount of dings from use over the years but considering the age, this is one of the better examples I have seen for a 39A
Considering these rifles are not made anymore and the newer offering by Remington being close to $3000 this is a rare opportunity to own an original golden - 39A
