.22s, #233, 22 inch part round smooth bore barrel, blue and case color finish, engraved, hard wood (Maple?) stock, checkered, original sights, side lever release for barrel to swing open for loading, thumb extractor, take down lever at front of stock to remove barrel, marked "C. Gauchez.Bte/S.G.D.G./233" on side flate of barrel, "MERCENIER/GUYOT" on bottom flat of barrel,1890's.
Condition: some black powder oxidation in bore, 90% barrel blue thinning, case colors on frame and trigger guard silvered, sharp engraving, excellent wood, frame to barrel fit a little loose when closed, excellent marks.
