Description:
sold Year of manufacture is 1905. Best caliber and best barrel length. Bore in the 4 3/4" barrel is bright and shiny. There is one small area of pitting, but nothing of significance. It is not close to the muzzle. The bore will rate a strong eight on a one to ten scale. Action is smooth and tight. Four good clicks and solid cylinder lock-up. Markings are clear and original. Some nice original blue remains as well as some case color. No numbers on the grips only initials JNO. The left panel has been broken and repaired. I did the best I could showing the repair in the pictures. As far as I know this Colt SAA 45 is correct and original. American Arms & Antiques inventory number is 2457.
