Here we present an antique Pennsylvania Single Shot Percussion Shotgun, made circa 1850. This shotgun would have been great to hunt small game to put food on the table, or to defend the homestead. Its bore is roughly 16 gauge. The right side of the butt stock features a handsome German silver patch box with a Tryon stamp inside. Tryon made guns and gun parts in Philadelphia throughout the 19th Century. The top of the barrel is marked “A.H. SIEGFRIED”. The overall condition is very good. The amount of finish remaining on the barrel is about 88% with graying case colors on the lock. The stock is mostly smooth and solid with the exception of the cracks on the left side opposite the lock. Cracks are stable and do not move. The bore is in very good condition with a layer of dust. The action would be functional if the missing mainspring was replaced. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 33 inches. Caliber: 16 Gauge Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail!
