Description:
Serial #C125XXX, later Colt 45 Auto marked barrel with frosted bore. This fine transitional pistol was produced in 1920 and has the old pre-1920 slide markings. The metal surfaces retain about 95% original blue, the high edges and grip frame showing light to moderate wear. The double diamond checkered walnut grips are in fine condition, showing scattered dents and compressed diamond points. Included is a Colt marked two-tone commercial magazine with pinned base. A fine example of a post ww1 1911 Government Model showing light use...With the exception of the barrel, the rest of the parts appear to be original to the gun...Will consider trade for small bore sxs shotgun...
