Payment Types Accepted: Bank to bank wire transfer (preferred), or bank cashier's check only Description: Stunning example of the ultra rare Winchester 70 in 250-3000 Savage caliber. This rifle is also in a "transition" configuration, exhibiting both Pre and Post war features, making it even more scarce and desirable to the collector. It features a clover leaf receiver tang, rust blued barrel, and the unique "clam shell" or "rabbit's foot" safety seen only during this brief period of production (1946-48). Condition is superb at about 98% overall with a few scattered light handling marks in stock. It wears a 24" Barrel with an excellent bore. All mechanical functions appear to be smooth and working properly. The 250 Savage and 35 Remington each had some unique internal parts which are present: #7 magazine box, #5 ejector, and the correct style extractor collar with "S" stamp on backside. These scarce rifles almost never surface and are often completely buggered or obvious fakes when they do. This is a great opportunity to add a nearly impossible to find caliber to your collection.
