Description:
General Specs: Auto Ordnance, 45acp, 12lbs  6oz
Serial Number: KW1363

Here we have a fully functional, semi-automatic Thompson sub-machine gun built as an exact reproduction of the famed machine guns used by gangsters, law enforcement, and in World War 2, the Korean War, and even saw service in Vietnam.  The American Historical Foundation commissioned Auto Ordnance, the manufacturer, to produce 1500 of these firearms decorated to commemorate the Korean War and the soldiers that fought and died to protect our freedoms.  These are beautifully embellished Thompsons with gold accessories and gold accented lettering, several plaques noting the Korean War service, the American Flag, all housed in a nice hardwood display case with a plaque.  This gun is snKW1363, and remains in 99% factory original condition.  It adorned the walls of a local VFW post until the gentleman who owned it died and the VFW Post returned the gun to the man’s family.  The family is now in need of the money and have asked us to sell the gun at a very reasonable price to help with their expenses.  The American Historical Foundation built similar commemorative Thompsons to honor the WWII veterans, the Roaring 20’s, and other theaters of war, so they are the kind of weapon you can endeavor to collect them all.  With the glass case the cost is over $3300 new.  We are selling this one for considerably less.  These commemoratives have much nicer wood and finish on them, including a finer polish of the metal and a higher quality rust blue on the metal and 24K gold plating on the notable parts.  What a great Christmas gift for your loved ones or yourself, and what a great tribute to the Veterans that gave it all in these foreign wars.  Thanks for looking!
