Description:
This is one of the Last Scott guns made before they were taken over by Holland & Holland.
This gun should not be confused with the common model 700's that were made in large numbers,
This model, "the Chatsworth, was their highest grade boxlock at the time.
The gun has 100% coverage of fine scroll engraving. The blueing or "blacking" is a deep lustrous color.
Trigger guard is rolled on the edges. Breech end of barrels are beautfully engraved. The action is finished in a french gray color that contrasts nicely with the blued parts.
The ejectors are strong and "in time". Double triggers for a lifetime of trouble free shooting.
Gun weighs only 6 pounds, which will be appreciated by the serious bird hunter.
Chokes are right = CYL. Left = Mod
LOP is 14& 1/2 inches very slight cast-off.

The last serial number of the original scott line was 146244 this gun is numbered 147254 and is one of the last Scotts made.
