A very good condition, original Mauser sporting rifle - TypeB - chambered in 30'06.
A good, honest pre war TypeB in it's original chambering and featuring the iconic Lyman 35 peep sight.
Mauser offered their Oberndorf sporting rifles in 30'06 and also offered the Lyman 35 on the Type B.
This is a nice rifle with only the forend checkering being non-original.
Usual light handling marks in wood.
Excellent bore.
Hinged floorplate with trigger bow release.
Original front sight hood and the sling may even be original!
All numbers match.
