The set contains a Single Action Revolver 45 Colt, 5 1/2" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel, ejector rod housing, cylinder and frame retain 98-99% original blue with only a very light turn ring on the cylinder and a couple specks of fine oxidation on the barrel under the ejector rod head and at the tip of the assembly. The ejector rod head, cylinder pin, hammer, trigger, grip frame and hardware retain about 95% gold finish with an area of flaking on the rear grip strap. The laminated walnut grips with gold medallions rate excellent. The second revolver is a Colt Frontier Scout 22 LR, 4 3/4" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel, ejector rod housing and cylinder retain 99% original blue with equal gold plate on the ejector rod head, hammer, trigger, grip frame and hardware. The laminated walnut grips with gold medallions rate excellent as well. The revolvers rest in a hinged blonde maple presentation case with Colt and St. Louis Bicentennial logos in lid and gold baize interior. SOLD Manufacturer: Circa 1964.
