The Thompson line of black powder rifles is one of the most affordable ways to get started shooting muzzleloaders. The in-line system of loading, charging, and shooting this rifle provides a safe method for shooting a muzzleloader as well.
My rifle has been used very little as is evident by the over all cosmetic and mechanical condition. The bore is clean with no evident wear to the rifling. The 24" tapered barrel has a 1:38 twist to enhance accuracy, is silver color, and is bedded in a Rynite synthetic stock that features checkering on the pistol grip and the fore grip.
Accuracy is assured by the use of a Williams 3 stage adjustable rear peep sight, mid barrel flip up two post sight, and a single post sight at the end of the barrel. This sighting system allows for the right sighting choice for the situation. You would be hard pressed to find this quality of muzzleloader at this price point.
My rifle also comes with the original owners manual, load guide, several quick shot packs, bullets, powder, cleaner, lube, ram rod with accessories, ball puller cleaning jag, pre-lubed patches, bore brush, and shoulder bag. Hard case is an option for $35.
The red rifle stand in the pictures does not come with the rifle.
