Description:
Beretta introduced the original Xtrema in 2002 and the semiautomatic shotgun went on to win several prestigious shooting industry awards. Not content to rest on their laurels, Beretta engineers introduced a number of upgrades to create the Xtrema 2. This shotgun set a benchmark standard for do-it-all semi-autos and was awarded the Shotgun of the Year award by "Shooting Illustrated" magazine. Beretta's self-compensating gas system allows for smooth shooting in a wide range of loads. This shotgun is equipped with Beretta's Kick-Off System that dampens recoil further, a feature that's especially helpful for hunters that shoot hard-kicking magnum loads. It features the Optima-Bore® system available which reduces recoil and improves pattern by easing the shot charge's passage down the bore. It has a hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel that's corrosion-resistant and very easy to clean.
