Description:
Commemorating the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (R.C.M.P.) Centennial, 1873-1973. Engraved on left side with trooper riding horse and marked "1873-1973", right side has minimal scroll and entwined M.P., top tang has "MAINTIENS LE DROIT", right side of barrel chamber is marked in gold "R.C.M.P. Centennial 1873-1973.", full length musket forend with gold nose piece and single gold band, right side of stock has gold inlaid plaque and is stamped near buttplate "M.P." Original box and papers. Buttplate is missing screw near toe.
