Description:
This is a model 92 Winchester 38-40 caliber TAKE DOWN, with the 24" octagon barrel. This rifle has been meticulously restored to near new condition by an absolute professinal. The metal was lightly cleaned, leaving all the script and proof marks quite legible, as well as the sharp corners on the octagon barrel. The action works flawlessly, is nice and tight, and the bore is mint. The walnut stocks are refinished to the correct Winchester color, and fit proud to the corresponding metal parts. Stocks are free of any cracks, with a couple very minor handling marks. The take down feature works flawlessly, takes down easily, and goes back together nice and tight like the day it was built in 1923. S/N 922xxx. $35.00 S&I to lower 48 states
