E. Whitney Navy Percussion Revolver- Civil War Era - 2nd Model - N. Haven with Navy Anchor 36 cal - Has clear legible Navy Anchor on top of the barrel - Serial Number 26260 - all matching numbers - Manufactured at Whitneyville Armory Circa 1857-Early 1860's N. Haven, Conn address on top of barrel - Revolver still contains some original steel bluing as depicted in the photo array on barrel area - small chip on lower corner of one grip from field use. Is missing the top piece of the front muzzle end aiming bead at end of top of barrel. The lower piece of the bead is still attached to the barrel. Barrel measures 7 3/4 inches. The cylinder has some movement in it, but still indexes properly. Overall in good condition with proper indexing and good example for original 19th Century Civil War Firearm Collection.
