Here is a gun that you can carry all day and still have enough energy to down that last pheasnt at dusk.
Scott made guns mostly in three grades. A, B. & C. A grades had the latest features. extensive engraving, and well figured. wood.
These light weight guns were known as the feather weight. The weight was shaved in all the right places. This resulted in a racy
well proportioned gun that swings like a wand. I have taken pictures of a Scott 12 ga. game gun weghing 7 lbs. Placing it next to the game gun really shows how petite this gun is. 16 gauge guns were very popular on the continent. There is a blog dedicated solely to the 16 ga. The 16 has more knock-down power than the 20 and this gun is lighter than most 20 bores.
