"A.W. Spies Marked English Boxlock Pistol. .41 Caliber with a 3 5/8" octagon barrel. Nice muff pistol with a German silver frame that is engraved. Barrel is marked “London". Top of frame is marked “A W Spies/London". Grips are checkered and show wear. There is a cap trap in the butt. A.W. Spies was a prolific gun dealer in the 1850s and 1860s.
