Description:
Walther Model V Champion Bolt Action Rifle in .22LR. SN #25738W. Mfg. in the 1930's. LOP 14 1/4". 25 1/2" barrel with an excellent bore. The metal has been re-blued. The fine checkered Walnut stock has been nicely re-finished. This is a Commercial Model Fine Target Rifle mfg. at the Zella-Mehlis Walther Plant in Thuringen, Germany. This was the location of the Walther Plant from 1886-1945 when it was destroyed by Russian Forces in 1945. Top of receiver stamped WaffenFabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis, Thuringen. Trigger pull is 1 1/2 lbs. Features a Micro Adjustable rear sight. You don't see many of these around and certainly not in this great condition.
