Description:
S&W No. 3 Russian 3rd Model in .44 Russian. SN #39167. Mfg. 1874-1878. 6 1/2" barrel. Bore is very good for it's age. Metal has been re-blued. Wood grips are in very good condition. Commonly called "New Model Russian". Shorter extractor housing. Marked 1874 in a square box on left side over grip frame. The cylinders look to have been worked on at some point, maybe reamed and honed. This is an antique and requires no FFL to purchase.
