These .44 Caliber Smith and Wessons were strong competitors to Colt during their lifetime and are now a collecting field on their own, with plenty of variations and historical associations with cowboys, lawmen, and outlaws... Serial number 18473, has about 60% + of All the Original Nickel Plating ... all matching Barrel, Cylinder, and Latch. Fine Markings with Crisp Edges. This revolver is mechanically EXCELLENT and still functions crisply. The entire revolver is in Uncleaned Natural Condition showing the 147 years of age in color and appearance. A very affordable Cowboy six shooter that is actually much scarcer than the far more expensive Colts ... 44 S&W caliber. Ask any queations. Thanks for looking.
