SMALL FRAME COLT LIGHTNING CALIBER 22
Description:
The Small frame Lightning is of course 22 caliber.
Decent condition old Colt with some blue remaining on the frame. Some of it turning an antique color.
24 inch round barrel has nice smooth metal and also with a blue/brown patina.
Bore has rifling but would benefit from a good cleaning.
Wood is above average with normal wear marks.
A nice Example of a 22 Colt.
The 22 Caliber Lightning rifles will take all Long or all Short .22 cartridges, or part long and part short.
This one was made in 1899
