Description:
General Specs: Browning, Year 2002, 7mm Rem Mag, 8lbs 14oz
Serial Number: 17864MY351

Here we have a very well-cared for Browning A Bolt White Gold Medallion built in 2002 in the versatile and potent 7mm Remington Magnum.  The A Bolt is world-renowned for its flawless action and supreme accuracy.  And then there is the gorgeous looks of the all stainless WHITE GOLD MEDALLION with the gorgeous highly figured walnut stock with the rosewood forend tip and grip cap, nicely engraved receiver, and high polish bolt.  The A Bolt design has a very short bolt throw which makes it very fast to operate and gives excellent clearance of the mounted scope.  The barrel is free-floating and glass bedded with a recessed muzzle crown for uncompromising accuracy.  Aiding in the accuracy is a chrome plated, screw-adjustable trigger sear that breaks crisp and clean, the most important feature in wringing accuracy out of a very capable caliber.  Other convenient features are the hinged floor plate and a detachable box magazine to make things easy to load and unload in the field or at the truck.  The Magnum calibers came from the factory with a Browning pad, and the Monte Carlo stock with cheek rest makes lining up with the scope very comfortable.  This rifle is mounted with one of the best scopes made in America, the Leupold Vari-X III in adjustable 3.5-10 power with a 42mm lens ($600 retail), stainless finished to match the rifle.  This rifle originally belonged to a decorated Vietnam Marine that served two tours in Vietnam and the bolt is inscribed with his name “James F. Connell IV” who passed away in 2009 at the age of 62.  The inscription can be easily removed if the new owner so chooses and we can do it here at our gunsmith department and leave no sign it was ever there.  We have left it as is for now in case the new owner wants to continue to honor Marine Connell’s service.  This package retails for just about $2000.  You can own this lightly used one for a fraction of that cost!  This is a great rifle set up to hunt any North American game and is a great cartridge for long range shooting anywhere in the world.  We have priced this rifle to sell, so don’t hesitate or she will be gone.  You don’t see a lot of these White Gold Medallions for sale and this one is in excellent condition with a perfect bore and just a few light handling marks.  Thanks for looking!
