Antique Remington Rider Pocket Percussion Revolver - Circa 1859 - Serial#1173 - .31 cal - 3inch barrel. German Silver Triggerguard, with checkered hard rubber grips - Collectors grade with all matching serial numbers on Frame, Barrel, and Grips. Top of Barrel is marked "MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS ILION, NY./ RIDERS. PT. AUG, 17 1858. MAY 3 1859" in good antique collectible condition - Metal surfaces may have been cleaned in past, has general very fine pitting and metal is a combination light gray with scattered darker spotting. Both grips have a very small chip to the bottom edge at the retaining pin on frame as depicted in the photo array, otherwise both grips are in fine condition for their age - Action is smooth and crisp, cylinder with some movement, indexes fine. Bore is good with slight erosion. Very nice example of a all original Remington Rider .1 cal percussion - No FFL required for this classified antique percussion.
