Description:
This 38-40 Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle, manufactured in 1906, has a 24” blued octagon barrel mounted with an original Winchester adjustable rear sight and blade front sight. The bore is good with the exception of wear and light pitting throughout. The top flat of the barrel is stamped with 38 W.C.F., two Winchester proof marks and manufacturer and patent information. The Walnut butt stock with with patinaed butt plate and forend are attached to the patinaed receiver. The top of the receiver is stamped with Model 1892 Winchester Trade Mark. This rifle is in good condition with the exception of light pitting over the receiver and lever action, moderate pitting along the outside of the barrel and butt plate, worn finish on the stock and usage dents and dings. The length of pull is 13”, overall length is 42”, weight is 7 lbs. Our stock number is A679. Will ship to any FFL anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
