Payment Types Accepted: Personal Check, Money Order, Cashiers Check. Description: These Lindner conversions were made in two different variations. The first 100 had iron fittings underneath the stock ahead of the trigger guard. The second had brass fittings under stock with a peep tang sight installed instead at wrist and not on the rear of the barrel. All have numbers under the parts installed by lindner and they are serial numbers as well as batch numbers. This one is #198. Most of the Lindner's with the tang sight are missing as they don't fit in the patchbox. This one has US and inspectors markings at rear of barrel and Lindner Patent markings on sleeve. The bore is still .54 and that is correct. One cartouche is visible and stock has been repaired at wrist and under bolt. It's hard to find one not repaired as lots of wood was taken out to convert these. The last 100 were issued to General Butler's troops in New Orleans. This is a nice very good rifle.
