.....Without a doubt one of the best Native American Bear Fetish necklaces I have seen. This was purchased in Wyoming in the 1930's
and kept is the same family until a recent estate sale. There are 15 Bears carved from Wyoming sage Jade (Nephrite). . The bears measure from 1 1/2 in by 1 inch
down to the smaller bears at 1 inch. These are not the flat fetishes you see in todays zuni fetish pieces but fully carved bears. The heishi
beads on this necklace are small uniform white bead. Srung on a very fine sinew string with a silver horn clasp. The necklace measures 24 inches from clasp to clasp. I happen to be from Wyoming so I was aware the jade nephrite can be found there. Not in the amounts of years gone by. email any questions. Good Luck on acquiring the fine Native American necklace. No issues that i can see. Please consider pictures as description and make your own assement. I am not an expert and have passed along information from previous owner.I have found nothing on the internet that compares to this necklace.
