Description:
This fine old 12 gauge "Avant Tout" model has quite obviuosly been restored by a real craftsman some time ago. Marked "Bond Street". Serial Number 40343 indicates the gun was made sometime in the fall of 1905 or spring of 1906. The entire action shows crisp engraving and almost 100% new case-coloring. The barrels show almost flawless blacking and the (Bastogne?) stocks are in superb condition with sharp, tight checkering and beautiful streaking. Wood this nice would cost over $1,500.00. The barrels are 27 1/2", choked Modified (right) and Cylinder or "Open" on the left. The chambers are 65 MM or 2 1/2". Bores are mirror bright. LOP: front trigger to center of buttpad is 14 3/4" over leather pad. PRICE ADJUSTED.
