Description:
This is an earlier Model 39 with the following markings: "S - 15005". The upper tang is also marked with the star stamping. Together they indicate superior workmanship and finish. The upgraded stocks are in very fine condition with no noteworthy dings or dents. Fine, bright, shiny bore. The buttplate may be a replacement as the fit at the toe is not a perfect fit. I believe the bluing would rate 95% or better. The case coloring is strongest on the left side, being at 75-80%. The right side frame's coloring is at 65-70%. S&H of $45.00. Priced to move.
