This 100 year old pump Action Winchester is beautiful and has never had cosmetic surgery ! You look at the pictures of my rifle and compare it to others online and you will see no comparison to all except a couple others advertised for higher prices. The blueing is superb throughout, the Crescent Butt Plate is in the white as original but not pitted or rusting, and the wood is very close to 100% perfect. Should I lie to you and tell you it only has 50 rounds through it ? No ! It does show wear on the metal parts that move during cycling the slide and pulling the trigger.
My rifle is an original .22 Short caliber. Be careful of the .22 Long Rifles that have had the Short chamber bored to Long Rifle because the ammo is cheaper. 24" Octagon barrel and receiver share the identical serial number of 631446 dating manufacture to year 1919. The wood has no scratches, use dents, or the usual tang crack. The muzzle crown is the original flat cut; no actual crown to it, and the bore is in excellent condition, being consistent with the rest of the rifle. Comes with fully padded soft zippered case.
