Description:
General Specs: Browning, Year 1973, 12,20,28,410 Gauge, 7lbs 12 oz; 7lbs 15oz; 8lbs; 7lbs 15oz , Chokes ALL SKEET
Serial Number: 14955S73

The Browning Superposed is one of the finest over/under shotguns in history and one of John Browning’s most brilliant designs.  Produced in plain-jane field grades to the most elaborately engraved and finely stocked shotguns ever seen, production of the Browning Superposed was done in Belgium, running strong from 1931 through 1977 when traditional production stopped.  This fine Diana Grade Superposed All Gauge Skeet , sn14955 S73, built in 1973 is a very rare and grand example of a high-grade Browning Diana Grade, with extraordinary wood, long tang trigger guard, incredible hand cut, deep-carved engraving with deep-relief game scenes, shaded backgrounds, and wonderful bank-note style scroll signed by Richard Kowalski, with the original factory hard case.  Browning only produced 522 All Gauge Sets in ALL GRADES and only 59 in Diana Grade and only about 30 of these with the most desirable 28” barrels.  Browning built these all gauge sets to balance the same and weigh the same no matter what gauge barrel you are shooting, 12ga., 20ga, 28ga, and .410…the perfect tournament Skeet Set.  Best of all, this gun remains in 100% factory original condition still retaining the factory original butt pad that came on all SKEET GUNS and housed in the original factory case.  If you collect Browning Superposed guns there are few that are more rare than this gun.  If you shoot skeet, this is the perfect set to shoot all events with a beautiful and matching gun for all 4 gauges.  The world of competitive shooting has moved away from the shorter 26.5” barrels and all want 28” or longer barrels to shoot Skeet or Sporting clays, so this is the most desirable and valuable All Gauge Set to own.  This gun is equally at home in the field for your upland pursuits.  THIS IS AN INVESTMENT QUALITY GUN THAT WILL INCREASE IN VALUE AS YOU ENJOY ITS USE.  Don’t miss this great opportunity to own a very special Over/Under.  Thanks for looking!
