Description:
Austin Freeman Army Model percussion single action revolver,  manufactured by Hoard's Armory, Watertown, New York, in 1862 to 63.  "FREEMAN'S PAT. DECR 9 1862"  is stamped on the right side of the top strap, and   "HOARD'S ARMORY, WATERTOWN, N.Y."   is stamped on the left side. This Freeman has not been cleaned or restored, it is in "as found" condition.

The condition is Very good plus.  All  serial numbers are matching the frame including the barrel, cylinder and loading lever.  This revolver still functions quite well with a strong hammer, good timing and lockup ,..  The revolver shows moderate handling and firing wear... the balance of the revolvers finish has a dark  BROWN-BLUE  patina.  This is a good example of an uncommon Civil War era Percussion Revolver that won't break the Bank.  $2,750.
