Description:
This Trapdoor rifle is what's known as a "Ram-Dod Style" rifle, called as such by its use of a ramrod bayonet instead of the typical socket style usually seen. There wee approximatly 67,000 rifles made in this style.

Caliber Info: .45-70 Government
Metal Condition: Good, Considering its age this rifle is in very good shape. The markings in the metal are still present and readable.
Wood Condition: Good, Like the metal the wood is good for its age. Tha cartouches and other marks are still present.
Bore Condition: Fair-Good, The bore is dark but clean with good rifling. The only drawback is the ring present about 6"-8" from the muzzle with pitting near that area of the bore.
