Description:
This is a near mint S&W Model 36 2 Inch .38 Special Revolver with factory nickel finish, original grips, combat trigger, Perfect bore and chambers, etc. Revolver has had a cut made to the trigger guard itself which is hardly noticeable and affects nothing - but it is there. Look at photos carefully. An imbecile previous owner tried to make a trigger lock fit and instead of modifying the trigger lock chose instead to modify the trigger guard of the revolver - must have been a real brain trust. Most would never notice this has been done to this wonderful older S&W, but nonetheless it is present and we are obligated to call your attention to this. If it were not for this modification we would be adding another $300. to the asking price so if you are looking for a wonderful little older Chief's Special at a bargain then you have just found one.
