Payment Types Accepted: Description: When I purchased this gun on a it was described as most likey a Brown Bess Type British officers fusil conversion from flint to precession. The lock is marked Wright who commercialy made locks for Brown Bess muskets circa 1800. The stock and lock markings indicate use by the east India company. lock is Marked 1801 on the tang and Wright in front of the hammer. The stock has nice color has not been sanded. The barrel is 38.5 inches and has a brown patina. The bore is approximately 60 caliber.
