Original 1899 Carbine walnut buttstock marked with boxed "JSA 1899" cartouche and encircled script "P" proof under grip.

Metal Condition: Good, some blue turning gray and patina with oxidation, light pitting and wear.
Wood Condition: Good, some dents, scratches andd staining, notable denting on left side at rear and below grasping groove, tiny crack behind receiver tang.
Bore Condition: Good gore with light wear on lands.
Barrels: 22 inch.
Triggers: Single curved trigger.
Stock: Walnut, straight grip, smooth.
