Description:
This gun is out of the Winchester Collection with documentation that says it is a model 88 which is stamped on the barrel. Also comes with hang tags that state it is the first prototype Featherweight Model 70 made. An interesting little gun. 1445000 serial range. Typical Featherweight stock done very nicely with most varnish and correct red recoil pad. There was some type of a scope device in the original Factory holes on top of the receiver. Original sights and an excellent bore. Appears to have not been used. Marked on the barrel is "Winchester Model 88 Cal 308". An interesting gun from the Winchester Collection.
