Description:
German Guild gun stamped with "O. Geyger & Co. Berlin" on both barrels. Original beautifully figured Bastogne Walnut wood stock remains solid with hand checkering. There are a few marks in stock, but most appear to be imperfections and knots in the wood itself. Blue has started to fade in places but also remains good. Bores are excellent. There is some light oxidation on receiver in high contact places. There is a very small ding on right top barrel at muzzle. Buttplate is solid with no cracks. While there is not much engraving on metal, it lends an air of elegant simplicity to the gun. Scalloped edges on the receiver, gold "S" on side lock safety, cocking indicators and Greener Crossbolt. Sling swivel studs attached. "Nitro" stamp on barrel and several German proof marks on barrel flats. Beautiful old gun! No box.
