Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful Smith and Wesson Model 38 Military and Police chambered in .38S&W. This gun is the model of 1905 2nd variation with a 5in barrel and 6 round capacity. Manufactured in 1909. Finish is stunning, with only a small amount of muzzle wear and some slight handling marks. Otherwise, the blue finish is original and excellent with deep rich color and no rust or pitting. The case color on the hammer and trigger are beautiful with full color and bright original finish. Grips are in equally nice condition with deep checkering and are number matched to the gun. Bore and chambers are shiny and very clean with little signs of wear if any. The period correct holster is in good condition with a lot of wear but fits the gun perfectly.
