Description:
This complete rig was a wartime capture, purchased directly from the widow of the soldier who brought it back! The only specifics she could give was that her husband "drove a tank in the American Army in Europe in WW2".The pistol is an AC (Walther) 43. The serial number has an f suffix, so it was made in July of '43. All numbered parts match- slide, frame, barrel and locking block. Bore is excellent. The magazine in the gun is a Walther mag with a single WaA359 stamped on the spine. The extra mag in the holster's mag pouch is of Mauser make, stamped WaA135 on the spine. Both mags are in great condition and fully functional. When I purchased the rig, the extra mag was fully loaded with WW2 Nazi headstamped 9mm. The ammo is not included in the sale. The holster is really nice. Soft and supple, with clean threads and no seperation. Stamped P38 and proofed with the Nazi eagle over WaA41, then below that jhg over 44. Absolutely original WW2 bringback rig that shows use from approx 2 years of war. No hidden import stamps, no humping or touch ups. The decocker works, there is the tiniest amount of red still in the F for fire (won't picture), and faded white paint still in the S for safe.
