VERY FINE RARE CARL GUSTAFS MAUSER MODEL 1894 M94 OR 94 CARBINE IN 6.5x55, CIRCA 1916. All matching and in the 1914-18 serial range for carbines so not 96 alteration. NO import marks. 18" barrel with correct extension. All markings crisp. Almost all the original factory finish. Mint bore and rifling. Original finish on wood with very little signs of use or carry. Correct sights. Correct lack of bayonet lug. Beautiful St. Christopher medal where stock disc was. Old leather velvet backed sling marked "Canterbury" on swivel buckle prefectly suited to it. Prime example.
