1951 SMITH & WESSON .38/44 OUTDOORSMAN HEAVY DUTY 4" .38 SPECIAL N FRAME REVOLVER. Serial number "S845XX" from 1951. 5 screw frame, barrel and cylinder with 75% original factory blue with balance fading from holster wear and normal use. Excellent bore, rifling and chambers. Most of the case colors on trigger and hammer as they should be. Became the Model 20 once models numbers were introduced. Replacement grips by Eagle have the coke bottle contour so true to form and feel like the originals.
