Description:
Rare engraved presentation E. A. Prescott model 1860 32 rimfire revolver. Civil War presentation from Adams Guards. They were Company B of 42 Ma. Infantry. presented to J.C. Clifford in 1862. Engraved on top  butt strap is Orderly Sergeant J. C. Clifford Co B. 42nd Regt. Pdresented by the Adams Guards Oct. 27th 1862. Excellent condition in, blue, bore and wood. Only issues is dings on underside of barrel and pawl end is broken off and cylender will not turn when cocked. Hammer and trigger tight and  smooth. Light scratch letters TA on top of brass frame. Joseph Clark Clifford enlisted on 9/23/1862 as a first Sergeant. He mustered out on 5/15/1865 in Washington DC.
