This Mauser 9 M/M Parabellum was produced around 1916-1917. The pistol's serial number is 81090. This pistol is all matched numbers including the shoulder stock. The grips have the correct Red Nine with the original paint intact. All of the parts are correctly serial numbered to the frame. The original bluing would rate a 88% Or better condition. The nitre blued parts show good finish. The bore is in very good condition with a bright bore. The Prussian military acceptance proof mark is placed in front of the magazine well. The action works great with no issues. The springs are strong and in good order. The stock iron is marked 090. The stock has no cracks or damage. The original stock finish is intact. The stock does have some dents and scratches due to service wear. This stock locks up tight with no play. The original harness is by A.P.H. Hoffmann Berlin 1917. The harness leather is in very fine condition with no cracking or being dried out. The stiching is tight with no separation. The harness comes with an original cleaning rod and spare follower spring. This is a very fine complete pistol rig. This was a veteran's take home from the Great War of 1914 to 1918. It has been in the family since. To find an original Red Nine Broom Handle Mauser this complete is a real find! Having one in this nice of condition is a real plus!
