This Luger is the model 1908 without the stock lug. It has the hold open for the last shot. All of the serial numbers match including the magazine. The magazine has the cross that denotes it as a spare. The original correct replacement spare magazine is by D.W.M. and not serial numbered. The grips are in fine condition with no chips or damage. The straw colored trigger, take down lever, safety, magazine release and ejector retain almost all of the original finish. The rust blued finish would rate a 96% or better. The nitre blued pins retain almost all of the finish. The magazine with the matching serial number is in fine condition. It has most of the plating intact. The wood bottom of the magazine has the matching serial number and the wood is in very fine condition. The correct spare magazine is as stated unmarked. and is also in fine condition. The original holster is dated 1911 and issued in 1912. The leather is supple and in very fine condition. The Luger tool is the correct one for this time frame. The holster tie down strap is intact with no tears or being dried out. This pistol rig is in wonderful condition and in fully serviceable condition. It is not often that you find Imperial Lugers in this good of condition and complete. This pistol was a veteran's take home from the Great War. Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
