BSA Martini rifles were manufactured from 1909 until 1955 with serial numbers beginning at just under 9,000 in 1909 and ending at 59,000 in 1939 then picking up after WWII at P60,000.This rifle carries a serial number of 37,671 which puts its manufacture perhaps at the early 1930's. The rifle has been well cared for and customized for off-hand target shooting with a palm rest and palm stop.A precision shooting instrument, this rifle would make an excellent training or competition firearm. It is also set up to mount a target scope.
