Description:
Nice Winchester model 70 pre-64 375 Magnum, made in 1949. Rear bridge has not been tapped. Normal wear from use and age. Metal is nice, has been re-blued. Stock shows finish loss, smooth checkering, recoil pad is still flexable and soft with some wear. Stock has some nicks and dings from use and age. Minor hair line cracked back by tang. Stock shows sign of peep sight install. Still a good solid piece of Winchester Walnut. Winchester Logo and Trade Mark are easily read. Winchester roll stamping is clear and easily read. Bore is strong with well defined lands and grooves. Has not been crowned. Make a great shooter on your next Afican adventure. . $100.00 shipping to lower 48. Will be shipped in plastic case.
