Description:
Winchester Model 1873 with factory 24 inch barrel, .38/40 wcf., Third Model. Overall condition is excellent with 85-90% original untouched factory blue finish. The bore is very good with strong rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. I do see some minor pin head pitting scattered about, not a distraction from condition or accuracy. The correct "Step Down" receiver is excellent with 85-90% original factory blue. Bright "Fire Blue" remaining on the Loading Gate. lever is mostly silvered out with Case Colors only in protected areas. Light Case Colors remain on the Hammer. The Metal to wood fit is perfect with 95% original untouched factory varnish remaining. A very well cared for Third Model, Nice collectible.
