This just in, a mint condition and unfired Colt Model M45A1 Government Model .45 ACP pistol in the original serial numbered box with all the stuff it shipped from the factory with. This Colt had never been out of the plastic shipping bag until we removed it for pictures. It was bought new and put up into storage until now. This is the "Desert Sand" finish "Model 0" M45A1 that was originally designed for the U.S. Marine Corps. It features a 5" inch match-grade barrel, factory installed Trijicon night sights, a integral accessory rail below the barrel, G10 textured grips, front and rear slide serrations, a flat grooved mainspring housing with a lanyard loop, and an ambidextrous thumb safety in addition to the grip safety. These are truly top-of-the-line 1911s from Colt. If you have been looking for a "collector grade" minty example to put up in your collection, here it is.
