This is a beautiful, very lightly-used Benelli Montefeltro Super 90 shotgun in 12 gauge with a 26" inch barrel. The Montefeltro Super 90 is a very classy and attractive semi-auto shotgun made in Italy by the Benelli firm that was first introduced in 1988. Montefeltro Super 90 uses their legendary recoil operated action, well known for its extreme reliability and speed of operation. Benelli manufactured the Montefeltro Super 90 for 23 years, with the last of these shotguns manufactured in 2011. This example was made in 1999 and is in excellent condition. The original factory finishes rate 97 to 98%, with only deductions for very minor handling/storage marks. The bore in the 26" inch vent-rib barrel is perfect and bright, free from any pitting, dents, bulges, or imperfections of any kind. All five of the factory choke tubes are in excellent condition and come with the gun. The original checkered Walnut stock set is in excellent condition. Both the forearm and buttstock are free from any cracks, chips, repairs, or damage. The checkered panels on the forearm and buttstock are crisp and clean, and the factory-installed recoil pad is perfectly fit to the gun and tight to the wood. The length of pull is 14.5" inches to the end of the pad. All of the controls on this Benelli are in perfect working order, and the action is both slick and precise. There is no doubt that this Montefeltro Super 90 will perform like it left the factory last week rather than in 1999. This Benelli is really the perfect choice for someone who wants a shotgun that can do it all, from shooting ducks and geese in the mud to shooting sporting clays at a club. The blued steel / Walnut combination is attractive and classy, allowing you to carry this shotgun with pride wherever you want to take it.
